This is going to be a challenging week for me, as my husband is going away on a company training program until Friday.. that mean it’s just me solo parenting with our 2 girls. 🫡

TLDR: Girl, the whole “5-year plan” thing? HBR says it’s dead, and honestly, for the better.
Lynda Gratton argues that between AI shaking up every industry and all of us working longer careers than our parents did, rigid roadmaps just don’t hold up anymore.
Her advice: run small, low-stakes experiments instead of betting everything on one big move, and invest in things that compound: your skills, your relationships, your health, your curiosity.
Basically: stop trying to predict the future and start building things that’ll serve you no matter what it looks like. My favorite way is leveraging social media and turning it into my portfolio…
