The most successful interviews in 2025/2026 are highly structured, meaning every candidate for a specific role gets the exact same set of questions in the same order. This eliminates “affinity bias” (liking someone just because you went to the same school) and allows for a data-driven comparison of skills. For the interviewee, this means you should prepare for four distinct buckets: warm-up, technical qualifications, behavioral (”tell me about a time...”), and workplace alignment.
