Did anyone order WFH Social Media and Content Jobs?š¤³š»
Hi Career Besties,
Iām so excited to start this week! I also have so much to catch up with yāall on.
First of all, I hosted my first workshop last week as a content creator success manager and although I was a little nervous in the beginning, quickly found my footing. All the participants (female entrepreneurs & solopreneurs) were so receptive and engaging, that it made the time flew by so quickly (each workshop is 60 min long). This week, I will be hosting on Thursday night! I canāt wait to go full-time so I can evolve and grow much quicker.
On Saturday, I went to my first hockey game here in Sweden and it was much different from the hockey fan culture in Canada that Iām used to. Mainly, there was a dedicated section where fans would sing and cheer the entire game. Secondly, there was no fluff such as the jumbotron, kiss cam, or period break entertainment. And of course, the arena was much much smaller. But the fans brought all the vibes!
And since finding our new home here, I have been furniture shopping nonstop! Itās my first time furnishing a house and itās both exciting and challenging, because suddenly the space Iām working with has more than doubled!! I am so obsessed with my kitchen, probably where Iām be spending 1/3 of my time at home. Itās got 2 of my ānice to havesā, a porcelain double sink and a window facing into the backyard. š„¹
I hope youāll experience some āfirstsā this week- like a job offer that you have been working towards!
Warmly,
Jessica

Yes, less than 12 hours after Tik Tok was banned, it has been restored, in large thanks to President-elect Donald Trump. A lot of the argument Iāve heard against the ban was due to people and small businessesā livelihoodsā depending on it. The stats are very revealing, according to a survey by Oxford Economics, āTikTok supports a minimum of 224,000 jobs in the United Statesā.
Whatās more significant is that social media in general can be a good thing, especially in cases of employment and financial security, as we have learned. Youāll find in todayās newsletters, the opportunities supports just that- social media has created an insurmountable amount of remote jobs.
