PSA: the good jobs aren’t on Indeed. 👀
They’re on Instagram, buried in LinkedIn feeds, and on career pages nobody thinks to check. That’s literally what I built jobs.wfhmamamail.com for - roles I source from my network, niche job boards, Instagram and other corners of the internet.
Already paid? You’re in → jobs.wfhmamamail.com
If you are tired of endlessly applying to jobs into a black hole without a strategy, then you need a candidate agent, aka someone to do all the heavy lifting for you (job applications, resume writing, follow-up scripts, outreach DMs), you can join the waitlist for your candidate agent service here.
🚨 If you apply to any job you found through WFH Mama Mail, add this to the ‘How did you hear about this role?’ field on your application: WFH Mama Mail Newsletter — it helps me track which listings are landing and keeps me motivated to find even better opportunities for you! 🍁
📰How to Talk About Workplace Disagreements in Your Next Interview
TLDR: Don’t panic when an interviewer asks about a past disagreement with a manager, they are actually looking for proof of your professionalism and maturity.
To deliver a winning response, share a genuine, work-related story where you and your boss had different ideas, but ensure you keep the tone completely respectful and free of petty complaints.
Walk the interviewer through the specific actions you took to resolve the issue, focusing on how you scheduled time to talk, listened to their side, and brought objective facts or data to the table instead of just stubborn opinions. Conclude your answer by highlighting a successful business outcome or a valuable lesson learned, proving to the hiring manager that you know how to handle workplace friction with grace and turn a simple disagreement into a win for the team.
📰Interviewing Your Interviewer: 3 Massive Red Flags to Watch Out For
TLDR: Don’t let a great salary or a famous company name blind you to a toxic workplace. Career experts point out that the interview process is a preview of the job itself: if a company treats you poorly before you are even on the payroll, things will only get worse once you sign the contract.
Keep your eyes open for the three biggest warning signs: managers who can’t clearly define what you will actually be doing, interviewers who show a total lack of professional respect (like dodging your questions or being rude), and an overall tense office environment. Remember, an interview is a two-way street; if the hiring process feels completely broken, it is your cue to protect your peace and run for the door.
